It’s a slender wrist peeking out from the sleeve of a dove gray car coat. It’s the damp tendrils of a child’s flaxen hair. It’s patches of sun light filtering through Fall’s yellow leaves. What is writing? A series of beautiful words strung together that somehow have the ability to move us.
Hi, I’m Claudia Caramiello, pharmacy technician by day, freelance writer by night, mother of two beautiful sons both day and night. I survive single motherhood by writing, day dreaming of Norman Reedus, and eating Nutella out of the jar. With a BA in English from Montclair State University, I was a journalist for The Advertiser News, and currently contribute to The Sussex County Journal magazine. I have been featured on ScaryMommy, Sammiches and Psych Meds, Her View From Home, Parentco., Bluntmoms, and The Elephant Journal.
Thanks for visiting this quiet, unassuming little page. I hope you will find beauty and humor in my stories and poems.
